Help me empower women & girls in India!
Email
Hi all,
I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that Sambhali U.S. helps women and girls raise their voices with dignity and self-confidence, I knew I wanted to join them. Rajasthan, India is known as one of the worst places to be born female. Women and girls are often prevented from making fundamental decisions about their own lives and many face discrimination and abuse based on class, caste, and gender. I knew I had to help.
That's why I created a fundraiser to support Sambhali U.S.. Their campaign will help fund programs that promote self-esteem, unity and independence. The women and girls will find their voice. Your gifts will fund programs that promote education, economic strength, health, and freedom from abuse. The projects include a boarding home, primary education center, empowerment/training center, sexual education and harassment prevention efforts and an emergency telephone helpline.
Graduates will be given a basic education, a sewing machine, and the self-confidence to determine her own destiny and children will be given a foundation for their education journey—and you can be a part of it.
